Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the grant in the amount of $2,425.03 from the Richland County Foundation for the Carnival of Career Exploration program be accepted.


4.8 Accept Donations

Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following donations be accepted:

  • Mr. Jacob Bush, Celeryville Christian School, Willard; generous monetary donation of $760 to be deposited for the payment of BPA National Convention expenses for student Brice Browning of Celeryville Christian.
  • Haymaker Photo, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $250 to be deposited into the Art Barr Scholarship fund and used for annual student scholarships.
  • Ms. Carol Miller, Bucyrus; generous donation of a beautiful handmade quilt for the Wynford FFA Chapter to be displayed at the annual FFA banquet and used as the backdrop for family photos.
  • Payton Sturts Foundation, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $2,000 to be deposited into the Payton Sturts Scholarship fund and used for annual student scholarships; (Fund 007-9950)
  • Dawn Wright-Smith, Blackbaud Giving Fund, Charleston, SC: generous monetary donation of $30 to be deposited into the Alumni Endowment fund and used for annual student scholarships.

4.9 Approve Student Participation in Competitive Events

Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that we enter into Executive Session to discuss the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of an employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against an employee, official,  licensee or student, unless the employee, official, licensee or student requests a public hearing.  In addition, we will be preparing for, conducting or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with employees.
