4.4 ACCEPT DONATIONS

Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following donations be accepted:

  • Glenna R. Plotts, Mt. Gilead, OH; generous monetary donation of $1,000 to the Glenna R. Cannon Scholarship fund.  This scholarship is awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
  • Glenna R. Plotts, Mt. Gilead, OH; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Bob Janca scholarship fund.  This scholarship is awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
  • Gorman Rupp Company, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $350.  This donation will be deposited in the Principal's fund and used for Student activities.
  • Midway Truck Center, Monroeville, OH; generous donation of brake pads with an approximate value of $750.  This donation was used in our Industrial Diesel lab to replace brakes on a recent donation of a truck.
  • Angie Sloan, Walmart #2613, Bucyrus, OH; generous donation of lawn and garden merchandise and automotive supplies with an approximate value of $100.  These items will be used in our Horticulture and Automotive Technology Career Technical programs.
  • Steve Washington, Lexington OH; generous donation of 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan with a value of $2,200. This vehicle will be used for educational purposes in our Automotive Technology Career Technical program.
  • Donations to the Pioneer Penguin Fund.  This fund is used to help students in need during the Holiday Season  Donations for this fund were received as follows:
