    15. APPROVE PERSONNEL RECOMMENDATIONS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following personnel recommendations be approved:

    • Approve employment of Administrative personnel.
    • Approve Supplemental contracts of Certificated personnel.
    • Approve Stipend contracts of Certificated personnel.
    • Approve employment of Substitute instructors.
    • Approve employment of Substitute classified staff.
    • Approve employment of Adult Education instructors
    • Approve mileage reimbursement of Adult Education instructors.
    • Approve employment of student workers.

    16. ACCEPT GRANTS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the follow grants be accepted:

    • Carl D. Perkins - $303,145.53
    • Improving Teacher Quality - $2,609.14
    • High Schools That Work - $4,000
    • Public School Preschool - $88,000

    17. ADOPT RESOLUTIONS OF SUPPORT FOR PARTNER SCHOOL TAX LEVY

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that Resolution 20-15 be adopted in support of Galion City School district tax renewal levy.


    18. ADOPT RESOLUTION OPPOSING STATE ISSUE 3 FOR NOVEMBER 2015 VOTE

    Recommendation of Supeirntendent Gregory D. Nickoli that Resolution 21-15 in Opposition of State Issue 3 be adopted.


    19. ADOPT RESOLUTIONS OF ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following donations be accepted:

    • Dr. Terry Bartholomew II, The Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, Mansfield; generous donation of a Planmeca panoramic x-ray unit with digiatal sensor valued at $5,750 for educational use in our Dental Assisting program. 
    • Mr. Sonny Gee, Fleet Mgr., Mid-Ohio Driving School & Ms. Loretta Gamboa, Motorsports PR Administrator, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.; generous donation of two 2010 Honda Acura TSX vehicles with a value of $36,660.  These vehicles will be used for educational purposes in our Automotive Technology Career Technical program.
    • Mr. Karl Milliron, Milliron Auto Parts; generous donation of 11 hood panels valued at $462.  These hood panels will be used for educational purposes in our Collision Repair Career Technical program.

    21. APPROVE STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS
