    14. APPROVE PERSONNEL RECOMMENDATIONS

    Recommendation of Supeirntendent Glenna R. Cannon that the following personnel recommendations be approved:

    • Approve maternity leave of certificated personnel.
    • Approve supplemental contracts for certificated personnel
    • Approve stipend contracts for certificated personnel.
    • Approve employment of substitute instructors
    • Approve change to contract of part-time classified staff.
    • Approve employment of substitute part-time classified staff.
    • Approve Adult Education instructors.
    • Approve employment of student workers  

    15. APPROVE CHANGES TO JOB DESCRIPTION

    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that the changes be accepted to the following job description:

    • Distribution Center Coordinator

    16. ADOPT RESOLUTION TO UPDATE PIONEER GOVERNANCE PLAN

    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that the attached resolution be adopted.


    17. APPROVE TEXTBOOKS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that the textbooks on attached document be approved.


    18. ACCEPT DONATIONS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that the following donations be accepted:

    • Ben Lash, Paul's Drive-in, Shelby; generous donation of For Those Who Served" plaque with a value of $300.  This plaque will be displayed at Pioneer.
    • Dane Smith, Mark Friebel & Matt Smedley, ArcelorMittal Copperweld Shelby Division,Shelby; generous donation of approximately $1,600 pounds of steel plate drops to be used for educational purposes in our high school and adult education Career Technical Welding class.
    • FFA, Machesney Park, IL; donation of book "40 Chances: Finding Hope in a Hungry World" to the Pioneer Media/Library Center with a value of $26.  This book is placed in our library to for student's use to make the most of 40 chances to improve the world.
    • Gene Prederi, 31 Spruce St., Shelby; generous donation of books to the Pioneer Schumann Library Media Center with an approximate value of $60. 
    • Larry Roop, Shelby; generous donation of Medal of Honor Plaque with a value of $300.  This plaque will be displayed at Pioneer.
    • MT Business Technologies, Inc, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $100 to be used toward expenses incurred for our school-wide Community Service day.  
    • NASA, loan of Rolling mill, Drawplate and Tongs to be used in our Science classes for educational purposes.

    19. APPROVE STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS
