    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that approval be given to the following organizations:

    • Shelby Y Community Center Youth Sports Programs, P.O. Box 45, Shelby; to use the Pioneer front field for T-ball practice on Tuesday and Thursdays beginning May 15; and games on Saturdays beginning May 19, 2012 and ending June 30, 2012.
    • Mid-Ohio Sports Car Club, P.O. Box 1084, Mansfield; Use of West Parking lot from 8 am to 4 pm on the following dates:  May 28, June 17, July 8, August 12, September 3 and October 7, 2012.

     


    22. ACCEPT DONATIONS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon to accept the donations as listed below:

    • Beck's Auto Wrecking, 6946 Twp. Rd. 91, Mt. Gilead; generous donation of 7000 lb. Clark Forklift to be used for educational purposes in our Career Techical Industrial Diesel program.
    • Citizens Bank, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $500 to the Business scholarship fund; for scholarship awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
    • Domino's Pizza, 62 E. Main St., Shelby; generous donation of 20 large pizza boxes for use in Collision Repair Career Technical program for the Girls Non-Traditional Occupations day.
    • Glenna R. Cannon, 207 Redwood Rd., Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Robert Janca Scholarship fund; for scholarship awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
    • MTD Products, Inc., Shelby Operations, Shelby; generous donation of 90+ engines for instructional use by the students in the Power Equipment Mechanics Career Technical program.
    • Maxine Bachrach, P.O. Box 3, Plymouth; generous monetary donation of $500 to the Bachrach Scholarship fund; for scholarship awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
    • Steve and Laurie Easler, 2440 Fairfield Angling Road, North Fairfield; generous monetary donation of $300 to the Robert Janca Scholarship fund; for scholarship awarded annually to a Pioneer senior.
