    4.2 APPROVE ASHLAND EDUCATIONAL AFFILIATION AGREEMENT

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that we approve the Educational Affiliation agreement with Ashland University Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences for Pioneer to be a clinical site.

    • Donations received for Art Barr Scholarship fund:
      • Early Childhood Education Staff, Pioneer; generous monetary donation of $45.
      • Kenneth & Sherry Berger, Mansfield OH; generous monetary donation of $100.
      • Jim & Ellen Huffman, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $50.
      • Sue & John Murray, Ashland, OH; generous monetary donation of $20.
      • Nationwide Insurance, Columbus, OH ; generous monetary donation of $150.
      • Dena Kirby, Crestline, OH; generous monetary donation of $100.

    • Broshco Fabricated Products, Mansfield, OH; generous donation of 2,450 lbs. of steel pieces and tubing with an approximate value of $122.50.  This donation will be used for many hours of welding practice for both our Adult Education and High School Welding students.  These pieces will also be used for practice in our Precision Machining Technology program as well.
    • Butler Area Merchants' Association, Butler, OH; generous monetary donation of $100 for the Performing Arts Program for providing entertainment at the Butler Apple Festival.  This generous donation will be used for student supplies and activities within the Performing Arts program.
    • Mr. Greg Dodge, Shelby, OH; generous donation of assorted tools and supplies with an approximate value of $100.  These tools will be used for educational purposes in the Home Remodeling Career Technical program.
    • Village of Crestline, David Sharrock, Crestline OH; generous monetary donatin of $100 for the Performing Arts Program for providing entertainment at the Crestline Harvest Festival.  This generous donation will be used for student supplies and activities within the Performing Arts program.
    • Dunlop Tires, Randy Pry, Shelby, OH; generous  monetary donation of $50.  This donation was for a pizza party for the Pioneer Masonry students for repairs done on the Dunlop building.
    • Donations received for Pioneer Penguin Fund to help students in need during Holiday Season:
      • Anonymous; generous monetary donation of $40
      • Kevin & Jolene Young, Lexington; generous monetary donation of $50
      • Ann Cooper, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $100.
      • Chad & Brandi Jensen, New Washington; generous monetary donation of $50.
    • Dawn Wright Smith, Des Moines, IA & Your Cause, LLC, Wells Fargo Community Support; generous monetary donation of $180 through the Your Cause LLC through Wells Fargo Community Support Program.  This donation will be deposited in the Alumni account to be used for student scholarships.
    • Paul's Drive-In, Shelby, OH; generous monetary donation of $25 to HOSA Cystic Fibrosis Awareness team.  This donation will be used for student activities for this HOSA team.
    • Stark State College, N. Canton, OH and Fallsway Equipment Co., Akron, OH; generous donation of a forklift with a value of $3,500 to be used for educational purposes in the Industrial Diesel program.
