    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following personnel recommendations be approved:

    • Approve Supplemental contracts of Certificated personnel.
    • Approve Stipend contracts for Certificated personnel.
    • Approve mileage allowance for Certificated personnel.
    • Approve employment of substitute instructors.
    • Approve employment of substitute classified staff.
    • Approve employment of Adult Education instructors
    • Approve mileage for Adult Education personnel.

    15. ACCEPT CHANGES TO THE SECTION 125 FLEXIBLE BENEFIT PLAN FOR PIONEER CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the meeting date for the January Board of Education Organizational and Regular meetings be changed to Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 7 pm in the Pioneer Career and Technology Center Board of Education conference room; in accordance with ORC 3313.14.


    17. ELECT BOARD PRESIDENT PRO-TEM FOR THE JANUARY 2016 ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that Howard Koons be elected President Pro-Tem for the January Board of Education Organizational meeting until the new Board of Education President is elected.

    20. ACCEPT GRANTS

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following grant be accepted:

    • Richland County Foundation Board of Trustees - $204 (GRADS field trip to NCSC)

    21. ACCEPT DONATIONS
    Mr. Howard Koons, Board President

    Recommendation of Superintendent Gregory D. Nickoli that the following donations be accepted.

    • American Honda Motor co., Torrance, CA; generous donation of two work benches with wood top valued at $2,829.51.  These benches will be used for educational purposes in our Automotive Technology Career Technical program.
    • Anonymous, generous monetary donation of $10,000 to the Pioneer Penguin fund.  This fund is used to help students in need during the holiday season.
    • Ben Willman, Aaron Rothaar, Shelby Welded Tube, Shelby; generous donation of 25 lengths of 1.5 x 1.5 x .047 ga. x 20' galvanized steel tubing.  This material will be used for many hours of welding practice in our Adult Education and High School Welding Career Technical programs.
    • Dawn Wright, Wells Fargo Matching Gifts Program, St. Paul, MN; generous monetary donation of $70. This donation will be deposited in the Alumni fund which is used for student scholarships.
    • Emerson Process Management, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $1,000.   This generous monetary donation has been depostied into the Engineering Design Technology rotary account for future projects done in the Engineering Design Technologyies Career Technical program.
    • Ooh La-La Salon,  Katie Suter-Kruse, Bucyrus; generous donation of pedicure chair valued at $1,300. This pedicure chair will be used in our Cosmetology Career Technical program for educational purposes.
    • Donald L. Plotts, Mt. Gilead; generous monetary donation of $1,000 towards the Donald L. Plotts Scholarship fund.
    • Mr. Steve Sheard, Brookfield, OH; generous donation of 1948 Farmall-McCormick Deering Club Tractor with a value of $1,200 and 1951 Farmall-McCormick Club Tractor with mounted Brush Hog with a value of $1,400.  These tractors were donated to the Col. Crawford FFA to be used for educational purposes in this program.
