    Recommendation of Superintendent Glenna R. Cannon that the following donations be accepted:

    • Anonymous generous donation of $50 to the Bob Janca Scholarship fund for a annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Arcelormittal,Mark Friebel and Matt Smedley, Shelby;generous donation of steel plate drops and pipe drops with a weight of 1,840 lbs.  This steel will be used for educational purposes in both the High School and Adult Education Welding Career-Tech programs.
    • Mary Lee Barr, Ashland; generous monetary donation of $1,000 for the Work Ethic Endorsement program; monies used to honor students who exhibit a good work ethic.
    • Rene' Burtscher, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Bob Janca scohlarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a a Pioneer senior.
    • Glenna R. Cannon, Mit Gilead; generous monetary donation of $45  to sponsor three Adult Education students induction into the Adult Education National Honor Society.
    • Citizens Bank, Sandusky; generous monetary donation of $500 to be used for annual Citizen's Bank student scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Cornell's IGA, Shelby; generous donation of $200 to Shelby HS FCCLA to help with student costs to attend National FCCLA Leadership Conference.
    • Maxine Bachrach, Plymouth; generous monetary donation of $500 to be used for annual Bachrach student scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Garland Gates & Patti Welch, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $30 to sponsor two Adult Education students in the Adult Education National Honor Society.
    • Mike Millward, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $100 to the Bob Janca scholarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Donita Perry, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Bob Janca scholarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Revere Plastics Systems, LLC, Barb Zeitz, Clyde; generous donation of a server with an estimated value of $50 to be used for educational purposes by the students in our IT Support Career-Tech program.
    • School Speciality, Inc., Holly Stoots, Mansfield; generous donation of 2 Mobile Plan Centers valued at $1,194.  These items will be used for educational purposes for the students in the high school CAD Technician Career Tech program.
    • Staff of Early Childhood Education Department, Pioneer; Shelby; generous monetary donation of $115 in memory of Donna Musille, to the Bob Janca scholarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • John & Sandra Skulski, Mansfield; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Bob Janca scholarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.
    • Patricia Weaver, Shelby; generous monetary donation of $50 to the Bob Janca scholarship fund for an annual scholarship awarded to a Pioneer senior.

    23. APPROVE STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS

    National FCCLA Conference, San Antonio, TX, July 5-11, 2014
